Now that everybody has lost his excess holiday weight, it’s time to gather again for a nice meal amongst geeks.

On March 31, 2009, at 20:00 local time, we’re going to De Troubadour, one of my favorite destinations for business and pleasure. It’s on walking distance from the station of Antwerp-Berchem, and there’s a private parking lot on 20 meters distance.

This will be our menu (in Dutch):

Verwelkoming met een sprankelendje glaasje uitmuntende cava

New style caesars salad
Decomposée van ceasars , gegrilde kip , parmezaanaccentjes , soepje van sla

Belle de Fontenay
Als een romig soepje met banaansjalot , gepofte garnaal en zijn mousse

Jonge Eendjes uit de Landes
Spring roll van frisse groentjes , eendenjus geparfumeerd met arabica-koffie

Worteltjes en Rozemarijn
Romig taartje van wortel en mascarpone , panna cotta van rozemarijn

Tijdens de maaltijd
water op tafel , huiswijn naar believen
koffie en thee

The normal price for all this is 52 eur, but we got a group discount and only have to pay 45 eur if we pay in cash.

To get yourself a seat, put your name on the list and deposit 45 eur on 063-9048350-31 before March 25. This will allow us to confirm the number of seats to the restaurant, and will save us the trouble of changing money for half an hour at the end of the meal. If we run out of seats, it’s the date of your deposit that counts.

Update: There’s a vegetarian alternative too. Just indicate this on the wiki, and the chef will prepare a vegetables-only menu for you.

Update: The maximum capacity of the restaurant is 32 people. Don’t wait too long to register!
